The wonderful folks over at the Jewish War Veterans of the USA are reaching out to JIG readers to see if any Jewish service members have any stories or photos that you would like to share with them.
The JWV publishes a newsletter four times a year, and their Winter 2012 issue will be focusing on service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. In particular, they are looking for stories that address making the transition back to the US, what programs exist to aide service members/veterans who need assistance/support, and what to beware of (i.e. for profit schools that prey on veterans).
