Mr. Futersak: Greetings fromIraq. I have had my share of La Briute meals since being deployed toIraq. My mother and several friends have sent them to me and they have been a godsend. They are much, much tastier than the Kosher MRE meals that the Army provides (and which I've not be able to get). I think the company is called "My Own Meals." And the portions are larger. I particulary like the meatballs and spaghetti. You should approach the Army. Your food is much, much better. As I only eat kosher meat/poulty/fish, I have not been able to eat any of the meat/poultry/fish served on our base. I understood this when I joined the Army, that is, that I'd be eating a lot of tuna and hard boiled eggs. I did this here until I received the La Briute meals. As I said, I really, really enjoy the meatballs and spaghetti and I like very much the beef stew and the chicken meal. I'm not much of a turkey man, but when it's heated, I enjoy it too if it's the only basar kasher I have. When I first arrived here, people would ask me why I did not eat the meat/poulty/fish (they only serve catfish) and I've had the honor of sharing the laws of kashrut 25-30 times with my comrades. I also explain that Jewish Law allows us to eat non-kosher foods if we are truly starving. In my Army career, I have been really, really hungry, but never starving. I futhermore, in a desire to share my Judaism with other, explain there are only 3 things, according to Jewish philosophy, which you cannot do and must die first: idolatry, sexual immorality, and murder. But violating kashrut can be done if live is at stake. As I send, La Briute has been a godsend. The meals are so tasty that I would eat them (the meatballs and spaghetti) when I get back to the U.S. and I can have any food I want. That's how good this meal is. This is my relationship to La Briute meals. You can print this anywhere you want for this is how I truly feel about your meals. I would ask that you contact The Jewish Soldier Foundation (JSF). They have sent me boxes of La Briute meals to support me here. Giving them a discount on meals would be greatly appreciated. They are truly devoted to supporing Jewish soldiers deployed far from home. The POC is Joe Kashnow. He has not only sent me boxes of La Briute meals, but also kosher beef jerky. Helping of the JSF would be a real kiddush HASHEM. This would be creating a relationship between you and Jewish soldier. This is the eikar. http://www.jewishsoldier.org/4436.html I am thankful for anything you send. I will let you know when it arrives. Please, relay warmest regards to Dr. Jon and Myriam (I know she spells it different than "Miriam") for me when you see them. "Remember what Amalek did..." (Deut. 25:17) CPT Moses (Moshe) Scheinfeld
