While looking for facts regarding why kosher food is healthy and a growing trend for consumer from all backgrounds, I came across an article from JIG. I am a kosher mommy blogger and I feel that being an observant and shomer kashrut Jew is very hard to do when working in the secular world. I attended a conference for women bloggers and out of 1500 women, I was the only Shomer Shabbat/Shomer Kashrut Jew in the house. If more brands and conference organizers knew about the world of kosher food, they would have more “kosher friendly” options for us. I am glad that the military has provided these items for the many Shomer Kashrut and Shomer Shabbat men and women out there saving all lives, not just the kosher consumers.
