Privacy Statement
Posted by Capt Rubin on October 23, 2007

Since some features of the site require you to enter a valid email address (comments, forums, etc.), I thought I should say something about our privacy policy.

In a nutshell, we don’t give your information out to ANYONE.  Period.

Jews in Green is a non-profit, private organization.

I’m not here to make any money (other than to maybe cover operating expenses), so we will under no circumstances sell, distribute, or reveal your personal information to anyone, especially third parties.

There’s nothing I hate more than websites that do this, so I promise that I will never do such a thing to the readers of Jews in Green.

In fact, the only reason you need to submit an email when posting on the website is to reduce spammers or people who may harass legitimate users of the website.

Another concern some of you may have is email from Jews in Green.  As of now, we do not send out any newsletters or group emails.  There is really no good reason for us to have something like that now, and I don’t see much of a need for it in the future.  Right now you can change your personal settings to receive updates to stories on JIG, but you can also remove yourself from any mailing list at any time.

The bottom line is that I hate spam, so you will never receive any from us!

Sincerely,

Jason Rubin
