I’m a civilian who is heading to Bagram, most likely arriving just in time for Yom Kippur.  Someone sent me the e-mail of a rabbi there, but I haven’t heard back and I think he may have redeployed.

Since I’ll be arriving mid-holiday season, I’d like to find out as much in advance as possible to make sure I can find a place to daven.  Does anyone know of any Jewish resources for Bagram?

What’s the name of the Rabbi? 

I know of an Orthodox Jewish chaplain in the Afghanistan region, but am not familiar with the closeness to Bagram.  If you wish his email, send me a PM.
