Are there any services in Kuwait? I’m going to be deployed there in April and am curious as to what will my jewish experience be like there.

There must be some Jews in Kuwait.  As the Jewish Prime Vendor for the US Military, we are constantly getting and shipping orders for Jewish religious items to bases in Kuwait.  I don’t know who the chaplains are.

If you will be deployed over the Passover holiday, make sure to arrange Kosher for Passover food as soon as possible.  Talk to your chaplain or supply officer.  These are availabel through the DLA warfighter website:
http://warfighter.dla.mil/special/mig49/fpjewish.jsp.

For other Jewish items look at:  http://warfighter.dla.mil/special/mig49/items/jewish_items1.jsp.

Best of luck and stay safe.
