Hello...I am new to this site and to the forums.  Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
My nephew is currently serving in the Army in Iraq.  In his latest e-mail, he indicated that supplies for Jewish holidays have been hard to come by.  In his area, his group of Jewish soldiers numbers about 5, including him.  I want to make sure they all have “Seder Kits”, including Haggadot, Matzahs, etc. in time for Pesach.  Obviously, I can put together packages on my own....but if I don’t have to “re-invent the wheel”???  Does anyone know if these are still available (I have read online of the existence of such Seder Kits in the past) and if arrangements can be made to get them to soldiers in Iraq?? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

If your nephew can wants to get them via the DLA (it’s cheaper), he should contact his lay leader, chaplain or supply command as soon as possible, as they are already submitting their orders.

The Seder kit includes everything one needs for 2 sedars.  This includes Matzoh, a 3 pocket Matzoh Bag, Hebrew/English Haggadah, Grape juice, Kiddush Cup, Seder plate with symbolic foods (shank bone, charoset, marror, pearl onion), white yarmulke, 2 MREs, 2 Gefilte Fish, 2 Mandarine Oranges, Candy, Gum, Cutlery, and Instructions.

Be in contact with your nephew, if he has a hard time getting what he needs, you can order it for him online.
