Hello, and welcome.

As the Jewish Prime Vendor for the Military for the past 6 years, let me share some information with you.

Firstly, use the proper chain of command to assure the best method of obtaining Jewish stuff.

For a quick view of some of the things available check out: http://warfighter.dla.mil/special/mig49/items/jewish_items1.jsp

There are more things available and they will be listed shortly.

Passover Seder Kits for Participants (NSN: 9925-01-526-3364) and Kits for Rabbis/Leaders (NSN: 9925-01-526-3373) are available. They contain everything you would need for 2 Passover Seders, from food to grap juice, haggadah and kippot, matzoh and cover, Mres and desserts, gum and candy etc.

In addition, several Artscroll Hebrew/English books have just been added, such as the Chumash, Tanakah, and Machzor.

Also, a wider variety of Tallits and Kippot (Woodland BDU, Day Desert Camouflage and 2 Digital Prints)

For Passover Kosher food, try to have your supply dept contact Maryann Bonk at DSN 444-3192.

For more detailed questions about Jewish items, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Adam,

Welcome to the site. We’re glad to have you.

Here are some stories that I’ve written that should help you out:

Ordering Jewish Ritual Items

Ordering Passover Items

Ordering Kosher MREs

Hopefully these, along with Dee’s advice will point you in the right direction. Please keep us posted on your experiences with obtaining items. We could all use some tips on what to do and not to do. Plus I’m sure people like Dee and I would like to hear some feedback on how well the system is working.
