My name is Marc and I am a SSG stationed here in Afghanistan. I have been considering converting for many years now and I would like to get some more information about judaism and maybe talk with someone about converting and the process.  I would appreciate any help.

May I ask what experiences you have had with Judaism that compel you to convert. I don’t want to be discouraging but although it is very doable it is a very different life and a long process, especially if you are in the military. The amount of Orthodox Jews in the US military are very few. PM me with any specific questions you might have and I will send you my contact info and we can talk. I am not a Rabbi and I cannot convert you but I may be able to answer some of your questions and lead you in the right direction.
