You might want to check out My Own Meals.  They are a reputable company with shelf-stable meals that are approved by the military.

I don’t know the chain of command that you need to use, but I’m sure that someone will be able to help you.

There are also other Jewish items that you should be able to get via your chaplain or supply officer.  Such as Kosher for Passover Seder Kits, Haggadahs, Kiddush Cups, Shabbat Candlesticks and Candles, Mezzozot and Klaf (Parchment), Tallits and Yarmulkes, Siddurim, Torah, Psalms, Kosher Wine, Menorahs and Candles, Bibles and more.  Visit http://www.warfighter.dla.mil/special/mig49/items/jewish_items1.jsp

Best of luck,

Make sure you contact the Maxwell AFB chaplain’s office before you go, also notify your COT chain of command that you have special needs. They will be able to help you out. I don’t think there is a Jewish Chaplain there now, but they should be able to order you some of the My Own Meals for you to eat. The nearest kosher food option is in Atlanta two hours away.
If you get in a bind contact Ch Col Brett Oxman at Oufitt AFB, Nebraska. He has a lot of experience with these issues and has the rank to make things happen.

Chaplain Oxman is a great guy!  We have dealt with him in the past, as an Orthodox Jew he knows what you need, and as a seasoned military personnel, he knows how you can get it.

Hi, I recently (last week) spoke in person with the DCA manager at Hanscom AFB regarding availability of Kosher items in her store.  She was able to provide me with a current contract list of items available.  Unfortunately David Elliot and Rabashkin’s were not on the list, but there is a variety of items available to users of the DCA facility.  The only issue is volume vs costs as they probably will not bring in a case lot for one or two items to be purchased.  .

Once your dealing with the issue of Kosher food, be sure to plan ahead for Passover.  Chaplains are already submitting their orders for Kosher for Passover Seder Kits for theater and Europe because they want to make sure that everything goes smoothly.  Stateside orders have a later cut off date.

For your info, you can view the Passover Seder Kit contents at:
