Just wondering if anyone has ever stayed at the Soldier’s, Sailor’s, Marine’s, and Airmen’s club in NYC?

Here’s their website: http://www.ssmaclub.org/

It seems like a pretty sweet deal.

I havent stayed there, as I live in NYC.  BUt, if you do go - you should check out the USO in Times Square:

http://www.usony.org
located at Port Authority, 2nd Floor
btwn 41 & 42nd streets on 8th Avenue

they have discount tix for movies and Broadway shows, as well as free tix daily for B’Way shows.

New York USO clubs certainly have changed since I left New York.  What is this USO like?

We used to meet in the basement of a Beautiful Reformed Synagogue.  I used to attend services.  It was too much like being in a Church.  We had to go through a series of interviews first, before we were allowed to join.  Coming to Southern California from New York was a major culture shock, but now, I’m used to the beautiful weather and the high real estate appreciation.

What sights have you seen in New York?
