Both brothers are from Homewood, IL and attended services at Temple B’Nai Yahuda when they’re home. The oldest is currently on duty with the 1-27th I.R., 25th ID, Schofield Barracks, HI, the youngest is with A Co., 2nd Bn, 325th AIR, 82nd Airborne. Both had served in Iraq together. With both seeing extensive combat operations in Anbar Provence, and Sadr City. Both are active in and around their posts’ congregations, and while in the field, attended Shabbat services whenever possible.
