The first thing you have to do is log in. If you are not already a member of Jews in Green, you should register here. You can always find these links in the top right corner of each web page. Privacy is VERY important to us. To see our official statement on the subject, click here.
Once you are logged in, you will notice that the menu on the left has changed. (See pictures below)

Click on Post a Story to submit your own article. You should know that your screen name under your account settings will be shown with your story (as the author). You can use your full name, nickname, or really whatever you want (within good taste). Everything else will be kept private.
Once you click on Post a Story, you will be taken to the Article Submission Form.

Since you will not have any spell check capabilities and only have limited ability to save an incomplete article, We highly recommend composing your article in a word processor or text editor first, and then copying and pasting the text into this form. It is by no means required, but it will be a lot easier on your part if you do.
Publishing a story should be very straightforward from here. I’ve provided a brief explanation of each of the fields within the form.
The title for your story. Keep it short, yet descriptive.
This should be where you type your story. If your article is more than 3 paragraphs, we suggest you only put your first paragraph or two in the body and the rest in the extended entry.
This should be where you type the rest of your story. Anything in this field will be visible when a reader clicks on “read more…” from the homepage.
That’s it! Click “preview” once to see how your finished product will look. If you like what you see, click “submit” and your story will be submitted. Don’t worry if things don’t look perfect. An editor will edit the article, make any necessary changes, and correct any formatting errors (if required) before it is officially posted.
Since there are (unfortunately) mean, awful, and strange people out there, we have to put out the disclaimer that: We reserve the right to not publish a story or revoke an author’s website access for any reason.
